the word 'luscious' is coming to mind as i think back to the past couple days, and the definition according to dictionary.com reads as follows: 'richly satisfying to the senses or the mind.'
this pretty much sums up our weekend.
my sprained ligament became a blessing in disguise when it presented an opportunity to play hooky from waitressing this weekend, especially since Zane had this weekend off too. it couldn't have been more satisfying to wake up inside Zane's embrace instead of to alarm clocks saturday morning, and being so aware that the next 48-hours belonged to nobody but the two of us.
to say it was wonderful doesn't even scratch the surface. it's so rare to get the chance to be granted such an unanticipated gift, and be able to really live in each moment being so mindful of how thankful you are. i feel so re-energized and most of all grateful.
I never thought I would say this but CONGRATS on spraining your ankle. ;) Just kidding. But thats so great that an awful event turned into a blessing in disguise:) So glad you two got to share a good weekend together. LOVE ya.
