The first time i've actually seen how massive the atomic bomb actually was.
We spent a good chunk of the day walking thru the National Museum Of Naval Aviation.
It was a good place to be on a day for remembering those who have fought for our freedom.
Zane was in his happy place all day long, as he dreamed of flying. We both agreed that it was cool to sit inside real cockpits & get a feel for how small that space actually is.
Fun pictures and nice to see some of what you saw. The flag you're in front of is humongous...I mean really! I just bought dad a 3x5 (smallish) flag and pole set to put on the house (for father's day next Sunday) and the flag along was $29.00...imagine how much that one is you're in front of! Glad Zane got to enjoy the "pare-planes"...:-) (remember)? Looks like a fun day!
