It's obvious why this is known as The Emerald Coast. The water is a gorgeous clear green.
It was important to us to spend some time enjoying these waters & this beach before the oil slick messes things up royally. It was predicted to hit within 72 hours after we left.
A very sore topic for the locals as one can imagine.
Wow...gorgeous water. Its so pretty and I like the picture of the beach with the sea-grass, so pretty. Yup, it's just sick to think of that oil coming to shore to mess up the water and the beaches...a real tragedy!
