feeling fancy

MY NEW SHOES=-)
Panache: (p nash', -näsh') n. [Fr.]. style; flair; verve; upscale. this is the name of a friends dream transpiring in the form of a shoe store where we attended her private grand opening tuesday night. ooh la la right? i tend to stick to sweat pants, socks, comfy tee's and usually avoid people where possible, but sometimes we venture outside our comfort zones, especially in the name of celebrating a friend (and shoes!)... and what fun it can be. pink frosted cupcakes, champagne and delighting in the irony of your very Italian New Yorker boss (whose wife owns this shoe store) who sighs loudly at you every saturday afternoon when you're the source of the sound of a fork clanging on the floor because you've stacked one too many plates on top of each other ...imagine that same man currently kneeling at your feet with dozens of shoe boxes behind him trying to find the perfect size and style for your foot... it was too funny.

  1. Anna, no one has left any comments on your shoes....what does that mean??? You told me they were "funky" and I DO have to agree. But I bet I would like them better on YOU than off! At least they would make you like 6 feet tall!!! Take a picture of you in the shoes so I can get a better view and on you. love you,
