we also made some little upgrades around other parts of our home. we finally have a 'real' shower curtain (yay!) ...zane insisted on only having the clear plastic as a shower curtain because it allowed the most light into our dark bathroom, but anyway he finally gave into the idea of adding some color which i'm very happy about=-) and... we finally brought back our canopy bed! we didn't set it up in this place when we moved in because the fan was too low, but our downstairs neighbor is an electrician, and removed it for us as long as zane promised to bake his 'famous' baked apples for their family. it was a great trade! our bed makes me feel like a queen!

I really do love all the changes...yes, subtle changes are so great, they normally don't cost a whole lot of money and they make a huge difference. Your place just looks so "purty" and I love the colors. Way to go!
