so we have really been thinking hard about downsizing & finding something cheaper for the next 6-months or so as my job is ending in August & with no back up (yet!) we really need to think about the future & be smart- so we both fell in love with this studio a few miles up from our place now- it had a total rustic cabin vibe which i LOVE- of course we'd lose the ocean views but we'd gain canal views (& sweet fishin right from our backyard!) anyway these pix are mostly for you mom- know you wanted to see what i was describing- anyway- longish story short- we'd all but signed the lease & had told our current landlord that we'd be out of our place by july 1st & he offered to lower our rent significantly if we'd stay soooo we're stayin'- couldn't pass up the good deal=) 
AHHHHHH....!! You didn't have a chance to describe this place at great lengths..LOVE this place! Too bad it didn't work out. Seems fun to go home-hunting again..but nice alternative to have your landlord cut the rent a little :)
