a cozy side parlour in the main lobby where i wrote in my journal. fun to sit by a fire in june just because you can- not because it's cold.
we wanted to do savannah up right by staying in the historic district at least one night. the travel agent i spoke with laughed at me when i said we didn't want to spend more than $100/night. & you know me i'm all about the bargains. so i had to tough it out & cough up some dough. i gotta say tho- a little luxury is nice once in awhile- especially the valet service with bellboys. we had fun pretending this was "normal" to be able to call someone to get our bags- like we do this everyday in NY at our penthouse... lol. yah right.

ha ha ha......... sure was a very NICE looking spot. Fun to ACT like it's normal and just enjoy it while you can and while you're paying for it! :-)
