we were trying to see if our blow-up mattress would fit into our tent & it like swallowed our tent alive. so funny. guess we'll just have to sleep on the ground. with the snakes. & the other questionable creepy crawlies=) actually all kidding aside & as much as i hope we don't have any scary encounters i am totally counting the days & that means there are two more days! so excited!
Heehee! I have smashed a mattress into a small tent before. But if you think it does look too weird - try going to the fabric store and buying lengths of nice, thick foam. More comfortable than sleeping directly on the ground! I used my "camping pad" many times. Personally I think the actual camping pads are too thin. Oh, and you probably know the first night is always the worst. You'll get a lot more sleep the other nights. Good luck!
