Strollin Hand in Hand

So it's been well-covered- we love St. Augustine.  I think what I love about it is that everytime we go whether we're walking down familiar streets or discovering a whole new part- it always feels new & exciting.  We never have an agenda when we go- we just wander aimlessly & everytime it turns up something awesome that we didn't know about.  Like paleta's @ The Hyppo.  Fresh home & handmade popsicles with all kinds of amazing fun flavors like strawberry basil & tangerine dream.  We tried Champagne Mango & Blueberry Cinnamon. We found this whole fun residential area that we didn't know existed on the other side of the city that we never even thought to explore until we went to the marina for the pirate adventure.  Fun to watch some guys "re-cobbling" the streets with the old cobblestones on the spanish military hospital road- the street we started our ghost tour on one night a couple years ago... the street we happen to know has amputated body parts buried underneath of it... eeee... also had to have lunch at "our spot" the little gourmet hut--- tried a new mojo chicken wrap & i was NOT disappointed. We walked into a shoe store we've walked by a hundred times, but never looked thru & found those funky toe shoes we keep seeing around.
Aw, good summer days together...

  2. Some of your pictures are funny, some are pretty, and some are just great to have! Thanks for sharing even the silly ones...those are the best, I'm guessing when you have kids you'll keep the silly, not-so-perfectly-smiling pictures and then be sooooooo happy you did it when the kids are older. Since going through the pictures of you kids scrapbooking...I love the not-so-perfect pictures the most...the ones where someone is being extra expressive, or someone we know was being "poutey petey" or someone was holding their favorite teddy bear, or sucking their favorite binky....you know...the pictures that show "who you were" and that is so great! You can't replace that and it helps to remember "the way we were"...........
