We were amused to drive by a slew of Zane Grey named businesses, streets, etc. We researched it later, and found out he liked to fish the 'middle keys' (Grassy/Long/Duck Key) back in the early 1900's. Him & Henry Flagler (who according to http://www.wikipedia.com/ "...was a key figure in the development of the eastern coast of Florida along the Atlantic Ocean.") use to chill together. Kinda cool.
